Apprenticeship program 2020: 127 people in 49 small businesses

Guided by the principles of economic recovery, Emissa took a new approach: matching unskilled and unemployed young people in Idleb Governorate with small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The project aimed at vocational training, job creation, SME empowerment, social cohesion between displaced people and the host community, and overall support to the local economy. Through it, 127 men and women took part in a paid apprenticeship within 49 local small businesses.
